I was cleaning up some at home, found an old AT type PSU. I know it works, I pulled from some old junk system. I kept it like 6 mo ago thinking I may need one for troubleshooting, etc. I can't imagine...

I try to keep one stuffed in the corner of the bone yard here. You never know when you will need it, even if it is just to power up some drives using an adapter.

It is probably not going to be useful in a system, but it can be for other things. If you are a tinkerer and need a source for 5 or 12 volts, you could use it. Use caution if you do. Use some sort...

If you have a use for it, use it. If not, just recycle it and get some space back. Could try to sell it, but you wouldn't get much.

Good ideas. I have a couple old bricks for running HDDs with USB adaptors (adaptors blew up, but I kept the cord). ATX PSU would work too just short the green wire to black with a wire, paper clip....

Honestly, if you can't think of a use for it now, you aren't likely to. I kind of hoard odds and ends but I rarely need them, so my advise "do as I say, not as I do, and recycle/scrap it"

The nice thing about a lot of older AT power supplies is that they had a physical switch on them and were not controlled by a momentary switch coming through the motherboard, this can be useful.
